NearYou is a dating app for Vietnamese people, built around a simple idea: you don't need to scroll through hundreds of faces to meet the right person. You start with your own mood. POST YOUR MOOD Choose a mood, write up to 280 characters about what you're thinking, and add a few "vibes" to describe you right now. You can choose to show it to the whole city or keep it private. Posting your mood is always free and unlimited. SAME MOOD When you're in an active mood, the Same Mood section shows you people who are feeling exactly like you right now. DISCOVER PEOPLE NEAR YOU The Discover page shows people around you: nicknames, age, current mood, vibe, and area. Distances are always rounded to the region — NearYou doesn't show anyone's exact location. HIDDEN SIGNALS Instead of just liking and waiting, you send a Hidden Signal with a short message. The recipient knows someone is interested but doesn't see who you are; they only find out when they unlock the signal themselves. Receiving it sparks curiosity, unlocking it is intentional. ANNOUNCEMENTS The city's confession bulletin board, completely anonymous. Write what you find hard to say elsewhere. Read it, drop a "like me" emoji, or send a Hidden Signal to the writer without revealing your identity. MESSAGING When a Signal is unlocked, two people can have a private 1:1 conversation. Messages are text and update in real time. CREDITS Some actions use Credits: send a Hidden Signal (5), unlock a Signal (10), post a confession to the city (5). Each account has a certain number of free attempts at the start. Within the app, you earn Credits in three ways: 50 Credits when you create an account, 10 Credits daily upon logging in, and 5 Credits for each rewarded ad you actively choose to watch (30-second intervals, no daily limit). Watching ads is completely voluntary. Posting statuses, reading news feeds, messaging, reporting, and blocking are all free. LOCATION: NEAR, NOT PRECISE NearYou only requests permission for an approximate location and uses it only to guess your city. The coordinates are processed directly on your device and then discarded — the only thing saved is the city. You can also skip this step and choose your own city from the list. SAFETY - For users 18 years and older only. - Report profiles, statuses, confessions, messages, and signals, including anonymous content, without revealing anyone's identity. - Block and unblock anyone; each blocking action requires a confirmation step. - Child Safety Standards are readable directly within the app, even when not logged in. We have zero tolerance for any child abuse or exploitation. - Delete your account directly within the app, in the "Me" section. The app clearly states which data will be deleted and which will be retained according to regulations. The app is available in Vietnamese and English, and you can change it at any time.
