Store description excerpt

One app for the whole outdoors — plants, birds, insects, mushrooms, rocks, and more. Whatever you encounter on a trail, point the camera at it and NatureLens names the likely species and opens a clear field-guide profile. No more juggling a different app for every find. WHY EXPLORERS AND FAMILIES USE NATURELENS Identify anything in nature — in one place. On a single trail you might pass a wildflower, a songbird, a dragonfly, and a fungus on a log. NatureLens handles all of it: aim the camera and it works out what kind of living thing it sees, names the likely species with a confidence indicator, and opens a profile with common and scientific names, family, appearance, habitat, range, and facts. When unsure, it says so instead of guessing. Made for real outings — and curious kids. Built for family hikes, backyard discoveries, and "what is THAT?" moments, not for specialists. Profiles are written in plain language so a child and a grandparent can read them together, and every find becomes a little lesson. Go deeper when you want to. Found a bird to study, a plant to care for, or a mushroom to understand? NatureLens points you to the next step, while keeping everything you've spotted in one journal. Build one nature journal for everything. Save every plant, animal, and find into a personal collection on your device. Watch your journal grow across kingdoms, track the species and families you've met, and earn badges as you complete new sets — from your first ten species to bird, bug, and bloom in a day. Learn as you explore. NatureLens includes free in-app guides anyone can read: how identification confidence works, how to tell tricky look-alikes apart, why naming what you see makes nature stick, and how to observe respectfully. HOW IT WORKS 1. Capture or pick a photo — frame your subject clearly in good light. 2. NatureLens names the likely species with a confidence indicator; confirm or adjust by hand. 3. Open the field-guide profile for traits, habitat, range, and season. 4. Save it to your nature journal and keep exploring. PRIVACY YOU CAN UNDERSTAND We use PostHog for limited product analytics and AppsFlyer to measure installations and ads for our apps. Eligible event data may be shared with Meta for advertising measurement and optimization under applicable privacy controls. Photos and recognition content are not used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details. A NOTE ON SAFETY AND RESPECT NatureLens is an educational identification tool — a best-effort guide, not an authority. Identifications can be wrong and look-alikes are common, so verify anything that matters. NEVER use NatureLens to decide whether a wild mushroom, plant, berry, or anything else is safe to eat, touch, or handle — many species have dangerous look-alikes and the app is not a foraging guide. Keep a respectful distance from wildlife, leave habitats undisturbed, and follow local rules for protected areas. SUBSCRIPTION (WHAT IT UNLOCKS) A NatureLens subscripti
