When checking tickets, simply hold the barcode up to the checking device. No minimum term: The Deutschlandticket can easily be canceled on a monthly basis if you are less likely to be on the road. You can re-purchase the Deutschlandticket at any time. There is no easier and cheaper way to travel through Northwest Mecklenburg with NAHBUS or through the whole of Germany by bus and train.
