Use of the AccessibilityService MySomnia uses the Android AccessibilityService API as a core application function to enable the sleep timer to automatically pause audio playback in other applications when the user falls asleep. The service is used solely to perform the action of pausing media content when the user-configured timer expires. This permission allows the timer to function correctly even when other music, podcast, or video applications are in the foreground. MySomnia does NOT use the AccessibilityService to: • Read screen content • Record text entered by the user • Collect personal information • Monitor user activity in other applications • Collect data for advertising or analytics The AccessibilityService is entirely optional and must be manually enabled by the user in their Android system settings. It can be disabled at any time.
