MyQibla shows you the direction to the Kaaba — and lets you verify it four different ways, so you never have to trust a wobbling compass needle on faith. FOUR WAYS TO FIND THE QIBLA • Map — Your position on a satellite map with the great-circle line to Mecca drawn across it. The map turns as you turn, so the direction always matches the way you are actually facing. One tap zooms out to show the entire path to the Kaaba. • Compass — A precision instrument dial with the Kaaba marked on its own bearing. Turn until the marker meets the pointer: the dial fills with green and your phone taps your hand. • AR — Hold up your phone and see the direction placed in the world through your camera, with arrows guiding you until you are facing it. • Sun & Moon — The one check that metal and magnets cannot fool. The app tells you exactly how to stand relative to the real sun or moon in the sky. If it matches what you see, your direction is confirmed. BUILT TO BE TRUSTED • Great-circle mathematics — the same calculation navigators use, not a flat-map approximation that drifts by tens of degrees. • True north, not magnetic north — magnetic declination is corrected for your exact location. • Honest about interference — when the compass is unreliable, the app says so and shows you how to recalibrate it. • Global Qibla Day — twice a year the sun passes directly over the Kaaba. The app counts down to that exact moment, when the sun itself points the way. WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET Direction, compass, AR and the sun and moon checks are all calculated on your device.
