Store description excerpt

MyGutMap is a diary for what you eat and what your body does about it. Log a meal in a few seconds — write it the way you would say it, and the app picks out the foods. Log a bowel movement on the Bristol scale, with colour, consistency and any symptoms. Add a photo to either. Then watch what lines up. WHAT IT SHOWS YOU • Food–Stool Map — for each food you have eaten often enough, the Bristol types that followed it, drawn on the same 1–7 scale every time so foods can be compared at a glance. • Bowel habit as one chart — a fortnight, a month, six months or the whole diary — with the stretches you logged nothing left visibly empty rather than quietly skipped. Or the same entries as one ring, split by Bristol type. • What you keep coming back to, at the top of the meal list, and every meal any one food turned up in — tap a food, or search the diary for one. • A calendar of your history, each day coloured by its worst reading. • Steps, exercise minutes and weight from the Health app, alongside the rest, if you allow it. WHAT YOUR DIARY LOOKS LIKE IN WORDS On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, MyGutMap can read the diary back to you in plain language — what appears before the bad days, what does not, and what to try next. It runs on the device itself: the diary is not uploaded anywhere to be read, and you choose when to run it. It is a second reading of the same entries the rest of the app counts, not a verdict, and it is not a diagnosis. TAKE IT TO A DOCTOR Generate a PDF for any period. It opens with the figures a clinician reads first — how often, how loose, what symptoms — and then gives the whole diary in order, oldest first, with bowel movements sitting between the meals that came before them. Photos come along. So does a plain JSON export if you would rather keep the raw data. HANDS FREE "Log a meal in MyGutMap." "Log a bathroom visit in MyGutMap." Siri asks for the details and writes the entry without you opening the app. There is a shortcut for the camera too, for the times you would rather photograph lunch now and describe it later. YOUR DIARY STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account. No sign-in. No servers of mine — nothing you write leaves the phone unless you export or share it yourself. One optional feature is the exception, and it stays off until you turn it on: with Record where you ate switched on, saving a meal sends that meal's coordinates once to Apple's mapping service to get the name of the place back. Nothing is collected, nothing is sold, and there are no ads and no analytics. Delete everything from Settings whenever you like. MyGutMap counts what you recorded and shows patterns in timing. Timing is not cause, and this is a diary, not a diagnosis. If something about your health worries you, see a doctor.
