Store description excerpt
You ate too much fried chicken and spent the night doubled over. Never again, you told yourself — and a month later you had forgotten, and did it again. Memory alone lets the same misery come back. MyBodyNote lets you get something down while it is happening — here, this is how it hurts — and fill in the rest once it has passed. Later, looking back, you might notice that the bad mornings follow the fried chicken. Keeping your symptoms and your days on one timeline is what this app is for. WHEN IT HURTS, JUST PICK AND SAVE Choose what it is and how bad it is, then save. The time is already set to now. Location, and what it feels like, can be added later. No more trying to remember whether it started before or after lunch. RECORDING A SYMPTOM - Touch the body diagram to mark where it hurts or itches (front and back, surface or deep, left or right) - Severity from 0 to 10, where 0 means no symptom - Pick the character of it — throbbing, burning, cramping — by tapping - Attach photos, so a rash or swelling can be seen as it changed - Add follow-ups over the days that come, kept together as one episode RECORDING YOUR DAY Meals, medication and treatments, baths, exertion, a change of household product, waking, going to bed, toilet visits. You rarely type a whole word — start typing and earlier entries come up. Waking, going to bed and toilet visits (stool or urine) take one press from Control Center, without opening the app: the time you press it is the record. The meal button opens the entry screen for you. NUMBERS YOU ALREADY HAVE Keep weight, temperature and blood pressure alongside everything else. You type in what your own thermometer or monitor showed; the app reads nothing from your body. A short note can go with each entry. TOILET VISITS Days are totalled for stool and urine, and opening a day shows the individual times. PERIOD RECORDS, IF YOU WANT THEM Start, end and flow. Your periods appear as a shaded band across the charts for weight, temperature, blood pressure, toilet visits and the course of a symptom — and on the PDF as well. Turn the feature off in Settings and it disappears from the app entirely. LOOKING BACK Search by what you ate, where you were, the type or location of a symptom, its quality — throbbing, burning — or the words of your own notes. Take any match as an anchor and list what was recorded just before or just after it, so "what did I eat before that?" is something you can check yourself. TAKE IT TO YOUR DOCTOR Lay out a period of records as a PDF. Print it or show it on screen. Choose what goes in. Pick symptoms one by one, so you bring what is relevant to that clinic. Severity and weight trend lines, temperature and blood pressure, and medication each go in or stay out as you decide. Period records stay out unless you add them. The PDF's language is separate from the app's. Use the app in English and hand over a Japanese PDF, or the other way round. It contains what you wrote, in order — no summary, no judgement
