MyAlarm: Stay Focused is a local-first alarm app for people who need an alarm to remain prominent when ordinary notifications are easy to miss. It requires no account or cloud service. **Two delivery modes, and the difference is real.** On iOS 26 or later, MyAlarm schedules a system alarm through AlarmKit, Apple's system alarm framework: iOS can present it so that it breaks through Silent mode and, when needed, the current Focus. On iOS 18 to 25, AlarmKit does not exist, so MyAlarm schedules a local notification reminder instead. A notification reminder is affected by Silent mode, volume, Focus and your notification settings, and can be missed. It is not a system alarm, and MyAlarm does not claim it is. If an alarm matters, iOS 26 is the version to be on. MyAlarm does not change your Silent mode, Focus, or volume settings in either mode. Before relying on an important alarm, run the built-in one-minute check on your own device — no app can guarantee that a person will notice or respond. Create one-time or weekly alarms, choose the weekdays, follow your device time zone, and decide whether snooze is available. MyAlarm hands enabled alarms to iOS and keeps your alarm list on your device. For routines that need more persistence, add up to three independent follow-up alarms from 1 to 30 minutes apart. MyAlarm schedules them with iOS up front. Stopping the current alarm acknowledges that occurrence; it does not silently cancel the remaining follow-ups. Before relying on an important alarm, use the built-in one-minute check on that device. MyAlarm also shows recent alarm history using careful language: it distinguishes confirmed actions from outcomes the system could not verify.
