My Hebrew Story is a complete beginner's course in modern, spoken Israeli Hebrew — told as one continuing novel. Eight chapters. One year. YOU'RE IN THE STORY Choose your protagonist at the start and the whole course follows. You become Ron or Gal Katz, a programmer from New York who's just made aliyah. Hebrew's gendered grammar stops being a table to memorize and becomes the way you talk about yourself. SPEAK IT OUT LOUD Step into any dialogue and take a role. The other characters answer in real voiced Hebrew — about fifteen distinct speakers, including native Israelis, an American accent for the newcomer, and French- and Russian-accented Hebrew from your classmates at ulpan.
