Store description excerpt

The MUST App (Maintenance Urban Sharing Tool) is a participatory service for the maintenance and management of built heritage; was created to support the user in identifying damage and anomalies in their neighborhood / building, to acquire and organize the information collected by users, by connecting a database of failure processes to the network. Built for spatial areas, the app guides in the recognition of faults, providing an instruction system on how to interact with expert knowledge, while an open database supports the identification of degradation situations, the reporting system helps the manager to have a control of recurring failures and critical entities of the sub-systems, improving the planning of inspections and interventions, avoiding the waste of resources. The digital platform was designed according to a prosumer perspective logic, which allows system users to get in touch with domain experts and maintenance companies, creating a context aware community. It is possible to report faults and performance anomalies found on the surfaces of buildings, on the operation of the systems, and on the elements of street furniture. In this way, the user is able in real time to reach the maintenance service manager and interact with the technicians. Through the use of MUST, the site manager has a constantly updated database of the conservation status of their assets. The monitoring of the evolution of faults determines a timely re-programming of inspections and interventions, the latter aimed at realigning the performance of the sub-systems of the urban environment to the requirements that come from user needs. As part of the DSH2030 (Digital and Sustainable Harbor 2030) project, MUST becomes a tool for monitoring the state of the built environment, in line with the objectives of the project to create a Digital Twin model of the Porto Antico di Genova, to support the manager of the area in the control and decision-making activities of the area. In particular, it is a monitoring tool that supports the planning and re-programming of inspections and interventions to be conducted, and the detection of a portion of data relating to consumption. MUST is a project co-financed by POR FESR 2014-2021 Campania Region, Priority Axis 1 “Research and Innovation”; DSH2030 is a project co-financed by the POR FESR 2014-2021 Liguria Region funds.
