Store description excerpt
Paste a link. Get the audio. Nothing else. Most music apps want to be a store, a feed, and a social network. MusicPal only wants to be a player. Hand it a link and it hands back the audio track — no video window, no thumbnail wall, no "up next", no recommendations. The screen holds a title and a running clock. That is the entire idea. HOW IT WORKS 1. Copy a link. 2. Open MusicPal and tap + Link. 3. The track lands in your library. Tap once to play. Short links and share-sheet links are expanded automatically, and tracking parameters are stripped before anything is saved. BRING YOUR OWN AUDIO MusicPal is not only for links. Import the audio you already own — MP3, M4A, WAV and AIFF — straight from the Files app, several at a time. Titles and artist names are read from the files themselves, so nothing arrives untitled. Imported files live on the device and play with no connection at all: on a plane, underground, anywhere. They sit in the same library as everything else, join the same lists, and answer the same search. Streamed tracks are never written to disk, and a storage screen shows exactly what is taking up space — and lets you release it without losing the entry. LISTS THAT STAY PUT Select a few tracks and make a list. One track can sit in as many lists as you like. Play a list from the top, or start anywhere inside it. Sort by recently added, title, length or play count, filter by source, and search the whole library at once. TEN PLAYER FACES Now Playing has ten looks — Time, Dial, Wave, Cover, Tape, Spectrum, Marquee, Sundial, Pixel and Vinyl — plus seven colour themes, each with a light and a dark version. Change the face; the quiet stays the same. BUILT TO KEEP PLAYING - Background and lock screen playback with full transport controls - Sleep timer, by minutes or "finish this track" - Auto-pause the moment your headphones come out - Resume exactly where you stopped - Repeat all, repeat one, or stop at the end - A link health check that finds dead sources in one sweep - Offline mode, so nothing reaches for the network unless you say so ON THE HOME SCREEN A Now Playing widget and a playlist widget, so the next thing starts without opening the app. YOUR LISTENING, ONLY YOURS Trends draws your last 7 days, 30 days or 12 months from play records kept on the device. Badges mark the milestones. None of it is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to: no account, no sign-in, no server. Back up or export everything to a file whenever you want, and wipe it all in one tap. FREE AND PREMIUM Free: add 3 tracks, create 1 list, and import your own audio. Premium unlocks everything — unlimited tracks, unlimited lists, batch paste for a whole page of links at once, all seven themes in light and dark, every player face, and every feature added from here on. Available as a subscription or as a one-time purchase. Subscriptions are charged to your App Store account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours
