The application of the Castello Ursino Civic Museum falls within the scope of the PO-ERDF Sicily 2014-2020, Axis 6 Action 6.7.2. – OUD “Open Ursino Data” project, of which the Municipality of Catania is the beneficiary. The App is designed to offer users a new museum experience through: - immersive audio guides in Augmented Reality, narrated by prominent figures such as Ignazio Paternò V Prince of Biscari, White Queen of Navarra, Frederick II of Swabia and Vito Maria d'Amico of the order of the Benedictine Fathers; - itineraries to discover the collections and legacies that make up the museum heritage; - puzzle of the pictorial works present inside the Art Gallery of the Civic Museum; - push notifications to stay up to date on events, exhibitions and news regarding the Museum and the cultural context of Catania.
