Store description excerpt
Thanks to the Epic of Industry and Aeronautics mobile application, scan the 12 QR codes scattered around and immerse yourself in the story told by Marc Bétrancourt himself. A unique interactive visit, full of anecdotes and captivating explanations about the major pieces of the museum. On a 2-hectare park, browse the exhibition spaces dedicated to the companies that have shaped the reputation of the town of Albert. Contemplate up close unique pieces of aeronautical history, such as the “C47” (Dakota) which took part in the Normandy landings in 1944, the Caravelle which made the last commercial flight for Air France in 1981, or the Castel C25S glider which participated in the filming of the film La Grande Vadrouille. In total, the museum created by Marc Bétrancourt brings together around fifty planes from 1944 to 1970, as well as a variety of other historical equipment such as helicopters, gliders, fire trucks and vintage cars.
