Store description excerpt
MultiBooks is a bookkeeping app for somebody who runs a small business and does not want to run accounting software. An expense is a number on a keypad, a category chip, and what it was for. Three taps and it is recorded. That is the whole flow, and everything else stays out of its way. MORE THAN ONE BUSINESS A gym and a side business and a rental are three sets of books, and MultiBooks keeps them apart properly. Separate transactions, separate categories, separate saved places, separate starting point for mileage, and separate shortcut buttons — a rental's income buttons say Rent and Utilities without that leaking into anything else. MILEAGE THAT SUBSTANTIATES ITSELF Pick where you started and where you went and MultiBooks measures the driving distance. Save the routes you take often and a regular trip becomes one tap. It records the date, the distance, the route and the purpose. It does not apply a rate. The rate changes every year and whether a drive counts at all depends on your business, so that stays with your accountant. THE EXPORT YOUR ACCOUNTANT WANTS One file, a folder per business: a summary, the breakdown by category, every transaction behind those totals, and the mileage log. Plain spreadsheets that open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. YOUR BOOKS ARE YOURS No account, no subscription, no server. Everything is on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Nobody else can reach it, including us. Apple Maps is used when you search for a place or measure a route, and that is the only thing that ever leaves the phone.
