Mukhtar Al Hajj Ali was born in Mecca in 1991 and raised there by loving parents. He learned from his father, may God preserve him, beginning by memorizing the letters and some verses of the Quran, including short chapters, Ayat al-Kursi, the last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, and others. He then joined the study circles of Mu'adh ibn Jabal in Mecca and studied under Sheikh Abdul-Mun'im Khalid Al-Madani, memorizing half of the Quran with him.
