MSHOWCASE POS is the apps used by businesses exhibiting at MARA showcase events. It is not a shopping app, it is the tool behind the counter. Sign-in is by invitation. Accounts are created by the organiser for traders who have a booth at the event. WHAT IT DOES • Ring up a sale in a few taps, with add-ons and happy hour prices • Take cash and work out the change before you reach into the tin • Count your float and your takings at the end of the day • See pre-orders as they are paid for, and mark them ready for collection • Get told when to start cooking, so an order is ready at the time it was booked • Answer enquiries from buyers who want a call back • Email a receipt to a customer who asks for one BUILT FOR A BUSY HALL The hall's wifi is congested and a queue does not wait. Sales are written to your phone first and upload themselves when the signal comes back — your takings are never lost because the network was down. Your product list is cached, so the till keeps working with no connection at all. WHO IT IS FOR Entrepreneurs trading at a MARA state showcase.
