Store description excerpt

MPO Viewer opens your stereoscopic 3D photos and video straight from the camera. There is no conversion step, and you do not need a computer. If you own a dual-lens 3D camera, such as a Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D W1 or W3, your photos are saved as .mpo files: one file holding two images, one for each eye. MPO Viewer reads both images out of the file and lets you view, animate, and export them in five 3D viewing modes on your iPhone. Those cameras also shoot stereo video, and MPO Viewer plays that too. BROWSING AND VIEWING Point MPO Viewer at any folder of .mpo photos or .avi clips, on your device or in iCloud Drive, and browse them in a searchable grid or table. Open any photo in the viewing mode that suits you: • Side by Side: the classic stereo pair, for free-viewing or for a stereo viewer or headset • Crossed Eye: the same pair, swapped for cross-eyed free-viewing • Anaglyph: both images merged into one for coloured glasses (Red/Cyan, Magenta/Green, Amber/Blue or Red/Blue), with eye swapping, ghost reduction and the right depth for each photo • Wiggle: the two images flicker back and forth to fake depth, either on a timer or as you tilt your phone • Depth (experimental): MPO Viewer builds a depth map from the stereo pair and warps it as you tilt the phone, for a parallax effect Every photo mode supports pinch-to-zoom and pan. An info button shows what the camera recorded — make and model, lens, aperture, shutter and ISO, dimensions and file size, and a map when the photo carries a location. The caption sits at the top of that panel and can be edited there; press and hold any other line to copy its value. 3D VIDEO Stereo clips are .avi files holding two motion-JPEG streams, one per eye. MPO Viewer plays them with sound in Side by Side, Crossed Eye and Anaglyph. A clip opens on its first frame and waits for the play button, and buttons over the picture skip ten seconds either way. Wiggle and Depth are built from a still pair, so they are not offered for video. FRAMES, CAPTIONS, AND SLIDESHOWS Frame your photos and your clips with a plain border or one of six decorative passepartouts: a viewer, a stereo card, a slide mount, a lantern plate, a panorama cabinet, and a cardboard peep box whose walls recede behind the picture. Add a focus helper to align your eyes, and attach a caption to any photo. Run a slideshow through a folder at your own pace. SHARE AND EXPORT Export Side by Side, Crossed Eye, and Anaglyph composites as PNG or JPEG. Turn Wiggle mode into an animated GIF or a cross-faded video. Export Depth mode as an MP4 tilt-sweep video. Export a stereo clip as an MP4 at three sizes, with its original sound or without it, or pull a single frame out of it as a photo. Mark a start and an end first and only that span is exported, sound and all. An export in progress can be called off at any time. You can include your GPS location in exports if you want to. Exports carry a watermark by default, and MPO Viewer Pro removes it. ACCESSIBILITY MP
