Movement Record by BaseCheck helps homeowners, landlords and property professionals create a dated record of cracks, structural movement and other visible property defects. Create a property record, choose a suitable floor-plan layout, and mark where each crack or defect is located and monitor widening or movement. Add dated photos, measurements and notes so observations can be compared over time. Measurements can be recorded using an eyeballed estimate, ruler or tape measure, printed crack marker, or tell-tale gauge where appropriate. Review earlier records, compare photos and measurements, and export a PDF report for your records or to share with a professional. Movement Record is designed to document observations over time. It does not provide structural advice, engineering assessment, diagnosis, or a determination of whether a property is safe.
