The "Motorcyclist Wants a Backpack" Facebook group app. MotoRadar is designed to help motorcyclists and passengers find each other nearby, get to know each other, and safely start a conversation. Simple principle: A driver searches for a passenger. A passenger searches for a driver. Each person sees people nearby. If someone wants to ride with someone, they click the "interest" button. Only when both people click "interest" is a match made. After the match, they can chat. Why does the chat only happen after the match? This is intended to limit unwanted messages. Example: Anna is a passenger and sees Marek, a motorcyclist. Anna clicks "I want to ride with this motorcyclist." Marek receives notification of the interest. If Marek also clicks "interest" for Anna, the app creates a shared chat between them. If Marek doesn't click, Marek can't message him. This prevents anyone from receiving messages from random people without their consent. The intention of the program MotoRadar is not to promise a ride or replace the user's common sense. It is simply intended to provide a simple way for people interested in riding together to find each other and communicate. Each user decides: whether they want to be visible, who they send their interest to, whether they respond to chat, whether they want to meet and ride together. The app helps establish contact, but the responsibility for safety during the meeting and ride always remains with the user.
