Store description excerpt
Most morning apps hand you a checklist and record whether you ticked it. MorningOS runs the hour with you. Press Begin and it moves through six practices on a clock — silence, affirmations, visualization, exercise, reading and writing — pacing your breath, playing a trainer you can follow, timing your reading, and holding the page while you write. You never have to decide what comes next. IT STARTS WITH WHY YOU ARE UP Before the first practice, the hour opens on one sentence you wrote yourself: the reason you get out of bed this early. Nothing runs behind that page. It waits as long as you need, and the hour begins when you tap. Write it as though it has already happened, and it is kept with the date you meant it — so months later it reads "written 2 February, seven months ago": your own sentence asking you a question. Set it the way you want to meet it: bold or italic, a word in colour or under a highlighter, a size for the whole line, an edge for each paragraph. Write it in two languages if that is how you think — each paragraph takes the direction of its own script. Change it from the page itself, any morning it stops being true. A YEAR OF READING, ALREADY IN IT Twelve chapters of thirty mornings: discipline, confidence, focus, emotional strength, health, relationships, purpose, money, creativity, leadership, wisdom, legacy. Each is a short lesson, a question to sit with, and one thing to do that day. It is written for this hour rather than lifted from anywhere — but it is written from a shelf, and that shelf is Think and Grow Rich, Atomic Habits, Deep Work, Essentialism, The Psychology of Money, Meditations and The Daily Stoic. When you would rather read your own, bring a PDF, EPUB or text file and it holds your place between mornings. THE HOUR IS YOURS TO SHAPE Every practice can be reordered, lengthened, shortened or dropped. Give it twenty minutes on a hard morning and an hour on a slow one. Add prayer if that is part of your morning. A SKY THAT KNOWS WHAT TIME IT IS The background follows the real position of the sun where you are — quiet blue before dawn, peach at sunrise, clear by mid-morning. Opening it at 5:10 feels different from opening it at 8:40, because it is. MOVEMENT THAT FITS YOUR ROOM Seventeen movements, none needing equipment, chosen to fit the time you have. A longer block brings in more work rather than holding the same for longer. Arrange your own sets and it alternates between them day by day. YOUR OWN VOICE Record your affirmations and visualization in your own voice and let the app play them back, cleaned up and steady, over the music you choose. WRITING THAT STAYS YOURS Journal by typing or by speaking. Entries stay on your phone, searchable by date and exportable when you want them. WITHOUT PICKING THE PHONE BACK UP The practice you are in and the time left of it sit on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, in StandBy, and in the Smart Stack on Apple Watch. While it is playing you can pause, or move a
