Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a simple in-office tool that quickly determines impairments in a person’s cognitive functioning, including their ability to understand and remember. The test is used for adults aged between 55 to 85 years old who show signs of dementia. This app helps identify individuals at risk of Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumors, and head trauma. The MoCA consists of a screening tool with a maximum score of 30 and typically takes between 10 to 12 minutes to complete. The test examines seven domains of cognitive function through a total of 10 different exercises and tasks.
