Store description excerpt

MoneyCat is a credit-focused offline tool for users who want to slow down before a new debt decision. It helps review possible payment pressure, income limits, existing obligations, repayment timing, and personal risk before making a financial commitment. With MoneyCat, users can describe a possible obligation manually, enter amount, expected monthly payment, first payment date, term, reason, emotional trigger, and alternative actions. The app does not issue loans, send applications, show lender offers, rank banks, or provide financial products. MoneyCat helps users set a cooling period before a credit-related decision: 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or 14 days. During this pause, the user can review budget impact, payment-to-income share, existing expenses, reserve limits, and personal rules. The budget section lets users enter monthly income, required expenses, existing payments, minimum reserve, and payday. Based on these values, the app shows remaining balance, pressure level, and warnings when a planned payment may exceed personal limits. A sobriety checklist helps users answer simple questions about urgency, alternatives, hidden costs, income loss, and whether the decision was discussed with a trusted person. In MoneyCat, the result can show a calm zone, doubt zone, or stop zone for self-control. The decision diary stores past pauses with status, notes, checklist answers, budget snapshot, and final outcome. Users can filter records by month, risk level, and decision type, then review what changed over time. MoneyCat works fully offline and stores data locally through shared preferences. The app includes local reminders, summary screens, optional camera notes for a receipt or personal reminder, export inside the app, privacy information, and dark interface controls.
