With the official audio guide of the Monastery of the Cartuja de Granada you will be able to find information on all the points of visit of the monument. Discover with this official audio guide the past and present of the Monastery of Our Lady of the Assumption "La Cartuja". Through the app you can visit the monument while listening to each of the information points that you will find in the different parts of the monument. Likewise, this audio guide is accompanied by images and written text of each of the points that you will see on your visit and that will help you to know it better. The Cartuja Monastery traces its history to a time before the conquest, founded by order of Don Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, whose construction began in 1516. It is an example of Baroque architecture. The courtyard of the monastery is accessed through a Plateresque style doorway formed by a semicircular arch, where there is a niche with an image of the Virgin. Next we find some stairs that lead to the door of the convent where we can access the different dependencies. These dependencies are the church, the sacristy, the cloister, the chapter house, the Chapel of Profundis and the refectory.
