Store description excerpt
MojaMind is a creative, arts-based mental health app co-developed with and for young women aged 18–24, particularly in low-resource settings. It provides a safe, supportive space for self-expression, reflection, and enhancing emotional resilience through weekly art-based activities. By utilising tools such as drawing, writing, voice notes, and nature-inspired creativity, MojaMind helps you connect with your emotions, explore your identity, and strengthen your coping skills—all within a secure, user-friendly mobile platform. App Features: - Friendly onboarding to guide you through your 8-week journey - Weekly creative activities with breathing exercises and reflection prompts - Choose how you express yourself: draw, write, speak, or collect natural items - Supportive video guides for each activity - Access to confidential mental health and technical support - Short pre- and post-program surveys to reflect and contribute to research What makes MojaMind unique? Most mental health tools aren’t designed for young women in low-resource contexts. MojaMind fills that gap by offering a culturally relevant, evidence-informed approach rooted in creativity, self-expression, and resilience. Co-designed by young women in South Africa, it creates a space that feels personal, empowering, and safe. Evidence-Based Design: MojaMind is part of the Creative Resilience public health project focused on improving digital mental health support for young women. Your use of the app supports your well-being and helps shape better systems for others. Privacy & Disclaimer: MojaMind is a secure, offline-capable app that collects no personal identifying data. It is a research tool, not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you're in crisis, please contact a health provider.
