About the Constitutional Court: The Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic was created by the Constitution dated January 26, 2010. Its mission is to guarantee the supremacy of the Constitution, the defense of constitutional order, and the protection of fundamental rights. The Constitutional Court was conceived by the Constitution as the supreme organ of interpretation and control of constitutionality. In order to comply with the powers expressly conferred by the Constitution and the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court and the Constitutional Procedures, no. 137-11, the Constitutional Court dictates decisions that are final and irrevocable, that constitute binding precedents for the public powers and all the organs of the State. The Constitutional Court is autonomous from the other public powers and organs of the State and has administrative and budgetary autonomy. Application description: Institutional mobile application of the Constitutional Court of the Dominican Republic, created to provide easy, agile and timely access to news, sentences, communications, alerts and relevant information of this High Court. Aimed at the general public and the national and international legal community. Beneficiaries. The general public, the national and international legal community, bodies homologous to the Dominican Constitutional Court, which effectively disseminate information on the resolutions, management and activities carried out, making known the important work carried out by the high court in defense of the Dominican Constitution and the fundamental rights of Dominican citizens.
