MisdCon is a location-based note app for capturing and rediscovering shared moments. Leave anonymous notes tied to a place and time. Others who were present within that same time window may view and respond if the note is relevant to them. HOW IT WORKS 1. DROP Create an anonymous note describing a moment, place, or experience. Add a simple verification question to confirm relevance. 2. DISCOVER Notes become visible to users who were nearby during the selected time window. Adjust the time range (±5 to 60 minutes) to control visibility. 3. RESPOND Users can respond by answering the verification question. If the response is correct and accepted, a private chat becomes available. PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE Your location data never leaves your device. All GPS processing is handled locally using on-device storage. * No GPS data is transmitted to any server * Anonymous by default * No account required * Notes and chats expire automatically * User-controlled route history retention (2 days to 1 year) FEATURES * Map-based interface for viewing time-based notes * Time scrubber to explore past moments * Adjustable visibility window (±5 to 60 minutes) * Verification questions for controlled responses * Anonymous interaction prior to chat * Private chat available after mutual confirmation * Optional profile sharing after match * Light and dark modes DESIGNED FOR REAL-WORLD MOMENTS MisdCon enables users to document and revisit moments connected to specific places and times. Whether it leads to a conversation or remains a recorded experience, each note is anchored to where and when it happened. SAFETY MisdCon maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for harassment, abusive behavior, and inappropriate content.
