In MIS Archive, you are an employee at an underfunded audiovisual museum. Between improvised tasks and limited equipment, your job is simple and urgent: keep the collection alive. Throughout the game, you try to preserve materials that are already beginning to disappear, while dealing with unlikely tasks, such as fixing the archive room’s old air conditioner. Amid all this, a unique and rare film of the city, shot between the 1950s and 60s, is at risk, and you will have to recover it. But how? That’s for you to find out. Inspired by real museums, MIS Archive is a Brazilian game about the importance of preserving collective memory and the challenges faced by countless cultural institutions in contexts of precariousness and lack of resources.
