Cadet Kart Setup & Tuning is a trackside companion built specifically for Cadet 9 and Cadet 12 karts running the Vortex Mini ROK engine. No more digging through paper setup sheets or guessing at jetting — dial in your kart, weigh it in, and work through problems systematically, all from your phone in the paddock. BASELINE SETUP Pick your class (Cadet 9 or Cadet 12) once and every other section — tyre pressures, wheel track, restrictor rules, weight minimum and jetting window — automatically follows it. Log tyre pressures front and rear, cold and hot, left/right splits, and wheel track width against the class-legal maximum. WEIGHT & BALANCE Enter your four corner scale readings (driver seated, in kit, ready to run) and see the full weight picture at a glance: front/rear and left/right totals, both cross-weight diagonals, and total weight against your class minimum (99kg for Cadet 9, 110kg for Cadet 12). If you're under minimum, the app works out exactly how much ballast to add and where — biased to hit both your weight minimum and your target front/rear split in one move, mounted where ballast actually goes: near the seat, not on a wheel. Compare driver weight and kart weight against the minimum to see where you have room to add weight, plus a plain-English explanation of how mounting height changes jacking effect at the rear. TROUBLESHOOTING WIZARD Pick the single worst complaint from your driver — pushing wide on entry, snap oversteer, won't rotate, bogging off the corner, and more — and get a ranked, weather-aware diagnosis with the specific setup changes to try, one at a time. JETTING Live or manual weather entry (temperature, humidity, pressure) drives an air-density calculation that recommends a main jet from the class-legal ladder, flags anything outside your class's legal window, and explains why. FUEL / OIL MIX CALCULATOR Enter your fuel volume and oil percentage and get the exact oil quantity, mix ratio and total mixed volume — no more eyeballing it at the fuel can. GEARING Work out rolling circumference, gear ratio and theoretical top speed from your front/rear sprocket combination, and see what a sprocket change would do before you swap chain. CLASS & COMPLIANCE A homologation compliance check for the fixed, non-adjustable Mini ROK internals (idle jet, starting jet, needle, emulsion tube, slide, float weight) plus your class's restrictor rule, so you always know what's locked and what's actually adjustable.
