Store description excerpt

Minesweeper, done properly for the iPhone and iPad. Uncover every square that isn't a mine. Each number tells you how many mines touch it — the rest is deduction, nerve, and how fast you can do both. FOUR LEVELS Beginner (9×9, 10 mines) to ease in. Intermediate and Expert when you want a real one. Or build your own board, up to 16×26, and set the mine count yourself. BUILT FOR ONE FINGER Tap to dig, hold to flag — or flip the switch and have it the other way round. Both work one-handed. Tap a number whose mines are all flagged to open everything around it in one go. Pinch to zoom in on a tight corner. YOUR FIRST TAP IS ALWAYS SAFE Mines are placed after you touch the board, never before, so no game ends on move one. That opening tap clears an area rather than a lone number. IT REMEMBERS Best time, win rate, current streak and best run, kept separately for every difficulty. Put it down mid-game and it is exactly where you left it when you come back — the clock stops when you do. ALSO • Light and dark • Haptics you can turn off • Question marks, chording and flag-all, each optional • VoiceOver support • Plays fine with no connection Minesweeper is free with ads. There is a banner on the menu and an occasional ad between games — never on the board while you are playing. No account, no sign-up, nothing collected. Your statistics stay on your device.
