What the service does: • Detects ONLY presses of the Volume Down key (KEYCODE_VOLUME_DOWN) • Starts PTT transmission on press, stops on release • Operates with screen off (operationally required for tactical voice comms) What the service does NOT do: • Does not read screen content • Does not capture other keys or user input • Does not access data from other apps • Does not collect, log or transmit any personal data • Does not modify system settings Why it is needed: no alternative Android API can detect hardware key presses when the screen is locked.
