I retired last year. I built this app based on that experience. I wanted to provide something to service members that provides details in terms of what their future income will look like, why it looks that way, along with a checklist to keep track of things. This is mainly for service members approaching retirement. Features: THE MILITARY INCOME STATEMENT Your retirement income itemized like a pay stub: gross retired pay, minus the SBP premium, minus federal and state tax, plus VA compensation. Every line shows its math and where the number came from. RETIREMENT PLANNER Rank, date of rank, target rank, and retirement date drive your monthly retired pay. A promotion-impact chip shows what making the next grade is actually worth before you decide to chase it. BRS members get the lump-sum election modeled to DoD's own published methodology. SURVIVOR BENIFIT PLAN (SBP) Spouse and per-child coverage. Model the election before DD Form 2656 makes it permanent. VA DISABILITY Add your ratings and see the combined-rating math worked step by step. VA does not add ratings — each one applies to what's left. Concurrent receipt (CRDP/CRSC) eligibility is flagged. RETIREMENT CHECKLIST A T-minus timeline from two years out to after you're out: TAP, service records, SkillBridge, the BDD claim window, DD Form 2656, scheduling the final move with the TMO, TRICARE enrollment, the DD-214 review, and verifying your first retired paycheck against your own statement.
