Midway is a guide to the Minnesota State Fair. It knows where everything is, what everything sells, and how long it takes to walk there. FIND THE FOOD, NOT THE STAND Search 8,105 menu items across 274 food stands. Type "dill" and you get the dishes, nearest first, not a list of stands with the word buried in a subtitle. Browse all 36 new foods this year, with descriptions and ingredients. A MAP THAT WORKS WHEN NOTHING ELSE DOES The whole catalog is on your phone, so the map, schedule, search, and every listing keep working when the network gives up. Walking directions follow the paths that exist between the buildings rather than the roads around them. INSIDE THE BUILDINGS TOO Open the Food Building and see all 26 stands inside it, grouped by the wall they are on. Open the Grandstand and see what is on there tonight and for the rest of the fair. THE WHOLE SCHEDULE 3,843 showings across twelve days, filtered to what you came for in one tap. See what is on now, what is next, and how far away it is. A LIST THAT PLANS ITSELF Save stands, dishes, and shows as you find them. Midway groups food under its stand, lets you reorder your day, and plans the shortest walk. WHAT YOU NEED WHEN YOU NEED IT Find restrooms, drinking water, first aid, ATMs, gates, nursing rooms, shade, and phone charging. Everything is mapped and one tap from directions.
