Meva brings prayer times, the Quran, supplications and the qibla together in one simple Islamic companion. No ads, nothing to distract you. PRAYER TIMES AND ADHAN Daily prayer times for your location and a countdown to the next prayer. The adhan notification is set separately for every prayer: turn off the ones you don't want, ask to be reminded "15 minutes before", or shift the notification minute by minute to reach the mosque in time or to stay on the safe side. When the notification arrives, tap the button on it to mark the prayer as performed; you don't have to open the app and look for it. It works without an internet connection. Prayer times are stored on your device, so the app opens and notifications keep arriving while you travel, fly or lose your connection. THE QURAN All 114 surahs with the Arabic text and a translation. Follow the verses with audio recitation. The verse you stopped at is remembered, and one tap takes you back to it. Juz-by-juz khatm tracking and shared khatm circles are in the app as well. QIBLA AND MOSQUES Qibla direction with a compass. Magnetic declination is read from your device, and you are warned when there is magnetic interference nearby. You can see the mosques around you on a map. WORSHIP TRACKING Mark the prayers you have performed; the istikamet card shows your current streak, your longest streak and how the last 30 days went. The special-days mode pauses the expectation of prayer during menstruation and postnatal bleeding and holds your streak where it is. Those prayers do not need to be made up, so they are not counted as missed either. Missed prayers are counted separately. A zakat calculator and a digital tasbih are also included. LEARN How to pray, how to perform wudu, which surahs to recite; step-by-step guides. The 99 Names of Allah, hadiths, stories of the prophets and the basics of Islamic practice. The religious calendar shows the blessed nights and holy days. TOGETHER Share prayer requests, join the supplications of others. Start shared khatm circles, create events. If you would rather not share, you can use the whole app without ever opening the social section. LANGUAGES Turkish, English, German and Azerbaijani. Meva means ma'wa: a shelter, a refuge.
