METIS is a simple application designed for dispatchers of winter road maintenance for support in their decision making. The application provides dispatchers with the current data from road weather stations. The application utilizes the user's location in the navigation mode and filtration of weather stations around the user. The application has the following sections and features: LIST OF STATIONS - Stations by warning or region - List of favorite stations - Selecting favorite weather stations - Filtering stations by distance from the user STATION DETAIL - Information on air - temperature, humidity, precipitation, visibility, wind - Information on road - temperature, freezing point, water level, status, warning - Station information - position, altitude, technology - The current image from the camera MAP - Choice of 4 elements to display - station warning, road condition, air temperature, surface temperature - Basic information from the weather station by clicking on the station - Setting of favorite position NAVIGATION - Based on the tracking of user the application provides basic data from the closest weather station, with a preference for stations in the direction of movement - Choice of 4 elements to display as on the Map page FORECASTS - 9 hour special weather forecast for winter road maintenance in individual regions of Czechia published by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute
