Merkez is your institute’s app — not a catalogue of anonymous courses. Your teacher writes their lessons and exercises, chooses their school’s colours and fonts, then gives you a class code. You enter it: their courses open, in their colours. WHAT YOU’LL FIND • Your teacher’s lessons, in your language and in Arabic: text, audio recitations, images, video. • Nineteen kinds of exercise: multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blanks, matching, reordering, sorting, dictation, written answers, letter recognition, tables to complete, tracing letters with your finger, numeric answers, finding a word in a text, listen-and-repeat, and recording your own recitation. • A test at the end of each lesson, marked and sent back to your teacher. • A button to ask them a question, without leaving the lesson. • Your institute’s live classes, when your teacher opens one. • Your progress, lesson by lesson. WHAT YOU WON’T FIND • No advertising. • No ranking between students: your progress is between you and your teacher. • No resale of your data. TO JOIN A COURSE You need the code your teacher gave you. Without a code you can create your account and look around, but an institute’s courses stay its own. ARE YOU A TEACHER?
