Create memory palaces with ordered loci, photos of places, and supported real-world panoramas. Memory Palace helps you build stable palace routes and review them in a guided walkthrough. A palace can be as simple as an ordered list of text-only loci. It can also be visual: import photos of rooms, streets, landmarks, or other places, add supported panorama scenes, mark one or more loci on an image, and keep those loci in the same palace route. Some loci may remain text-only when a photo or panorama is unavailable, or when the place exists only in your imagination. Build your palace structure: - Create palaces and loci - Use photos of places as optional visual references - Mark one or more loci on a photo or panorama - Keep text-only, photo-based, and panorama-based loci in one palace route - Refine the order of loci while building your palace route - Review existing palace routes without hunting through spreadsheets, documents, or annotated image files Review the palace route: - Move through loci one by one in Walkthrough mode, following the same palace route each time - Revisit the visual reference when a locus has one - Return to saved panorama views for supported panorama loci Good for material with an order, or material you choose to arrange into one: - Speeches, presentations, and scripts - Ordered lists, checklists, and procedures - Timelines, historical sequences, and event chains - Exam outlines, classification systems, and frameworks - Poems, quotations, passages, and other ordered content - Terminology or vocabulary lists you choose to organize into a route Memory Palace is built for the Method of Loci, also known as memory palace practice, mind palace practice, or the journey method. It focuses on spatial memory, visual references, ordered loci, palace routes, and walkthrough review. This is not a generic brain game, note-taking app, or deck-first flashcard app. Memory Palace keeps the palace structure. You choose what each locus is meant to cue in your own memory. Built from real memory-sport practice: after placing 6th overall at the 2011 World Memory Championship, the creator built Memory Palace to solve a practical problem — keeping thousands of loci across more than a hundred palaces organized over years of use. Start with a palace, create your first locus, and walk the palace route to recall.
