Memorize It helps you commit text to memory: scripture, poetry, speeches, lines for a play, wedding vows, or anything else you want to be able to say without looking at it. There are three ways to practise, and you can move between them freely. FILL IN THE BLANKS Start with the whole passage in front of you. Each round blanks out a few more words, so you are always working just past what you already know. Nothing is hidden from you until you have had a chance to learn it. Tap any blank once for its first letter, again for the whole word. SAY IT ALOUD The app reads the passage back to you and leaves the blanks silent, so your own voice fills the gaps. Audio is produced by your device, which means it works with no signal and costs nothing to use. PICTURE PROMPTS Every line gets its own illustration. Looking at a picture and recalling the line it stands for is a different kind of remembering than reading the words again — it gets you off the page sooner. ALSO IN THE APP • Your library colours itself by how well you know each passage, so one glance shows what still needs work • Split a long passage into parts, so each picture illustrates a single line rather than a whole paragraph • Collections of well-known passages, already illustrated and ready to practise • Share a passage as a link that anyone can open, whether or not they have the app installed • Your library syncs across your devices • Delete your account and everything in it from inside the app FREE AND PRO Writing, practising and audio are free and unlimited. Generating pictures is free up to an allowance; a Pro subscription raises that allowance each month. Collections are bought once and kept. ABOUT YOUR TEXT Writing, practising and listening happen without any third party seeing your passages. The one exception is picture generation, which sends that passage's text to Google so a model can illustrate it. The app tells you this before you use it, and if a passage is private you can simply not generate pictures for it.
