MeiKyo is a portrait-only iPhone music player for: - Local music libraries stored in a user-selected Files folder. - Navidrome/Subsonic and Resonance Manifest streaming over HTTPS. - Downloads for offline playback, including tracks, albums, and artist collections. - FLAC/MP3 metadata and artwork editing. - MusicBrainz/Cover Art Archive artwork search. - User-configured lyrics services with HTTPS validation and QR setup. - ProjectM/MilkDrop fullscreen visualizations with the full catalog, favorites, shuffle, auto-cycle, FPS display, safety warning, and low-framerate banishment. - Custom themes, mini-player docking, playlists, queue actions, alphabet navigation, and persistent library organization. Privacy and release features include first-use privacy-policy consent, an About section, privacy manifests, no telemetry in the public build, and a separate internal telemetry build for visualizer testing. Streaming is clearly identified as intended for private, legally acquired music libraries—not commercial use.
