Meditag handles reminders, logging, refills, and doctor reports — plus vitals tracking and family sharing, if you want them. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan your plan Scan the eMediplan QR code your doctor gives you — all your medications are added instantly, no typing. No QR code yet? Add medications manually by barcode or by name. Barcode scanning currently recognises Swiss, French, Italian, Spanish, and US medications; for anything else, just type the name in. 2. Reminded at every meal Meditag reminds you at every meal — morning, noon, evening, bedtime — even when your phone is on silent. Set your own times and snooze length in Settings. 3. Arrive prepared for your appointment With one tap, Meditag produces a 7-day adherence record as a PDF — ready for your next doctor's visit. You don't have to remember anything; the app keeps track for you. MORE THAN REMINDERS • Track vitals like blood pressure or weight, and keep a symptom diary — export either as a PDF or CSV • Meditag watches your stock and tells you when it's time to reorder • "Prep mode" walks you through filling a weekly pill organiser, with a final check before you take anything • See each medication's official Swissmedic status, and the date it was last confirmed • Share your plan with family, a Spitex team, or your doctor — on your terms, and revocable anytime • "Large text & Comfort" mode and dark mode, for whoever needs them • A home-screen widget shows today's doses at a glance YOUR DATA. Looking up a drug by barcode sends only the barcode number, never linked to you. Backups are encrypted before they leave your phone, and only you hold the key. Sharing your plan with family, a Spitex team, or your doctor is entirely your choice — you decide what they see, and you can end access anytime. Your health insurer never sees any of this. FREE. Your data can be exported at any time. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I need an account? No. Meditag works completely without registration. What is an eMediplan QR code? A Swiss standard used by many doctor practices and pharmacies. It contains your entire medication plan. Does it work without internet? Yes. Fully offline-capable. Can family or a Spitex team help me? Yes — share your plan with them from Settings, and end access anytime. Is it easy to read? Yes — switch to "Large text & Comfort" mode in Settings for bigger text and buttons.
