Store description excerpt
The door closes, the doctor asks when it started — and your mind goes blank. What did you already take? What was that white pill called? It all comes back on the way home. Medistory asks those questions earlier, at home, where you can think and go check the medicine cabinet. HOW IT GOES Pick the doctor, say in a sentence what's wrong. Then five to ten short questions — the ones the doctor is about to ask. If you can't remember, say so: "I don't know" is a real answer here, and it serves the doctor better than a guess. Out comes a single page: what brought you in, how it started and changed, what you have and what you definitely don't, what you already tried and whether it helped, your history and your own questions. Show it on screen, copy it as text, or save a PDF. A DOCTOR ABROAD READS IT IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE A diagnosis isn't stored as a phrase but as an ICD-11 code, a medicine as an ATC code. So "short-sightedness" reaches a Spanish doctor as Miopía, and "levothyroxine" as levothyroxine sodium — the official WHO name, not a hopeful translation. Russian, English, Spanish. YOU FILL IT IN ONCE Chronic conditions, medications and supplements, allergies and what they do to you, surgeries, implants, what runs in the family. After that the app drops all of it into every summary — you won't be dredging up the year of your appendectomy twice. Nothing is required. "Don't know" and "none" are proper answers, and the doctor sees the difference between "the patient denies it" and "nobody asked". Search covers the whole of ICD-11 — over thirty thousand entries — and understands plain wording: "can't see far", "blood pressure", "thyroid". VISITS DON'T GET LOST Six months on you can still see what you came in with, what you answered and how it ended. Add answers later and rebuild the summary. HEALTH, IF YOU WANT IT Weight, height, date of birth and sex can come from Health, and you pick the medications yourself: the app shows what it can see and adds only what you tick. Read-only — nothing is ever written back to Health. Don't want to grant access? Type it in; everything works the same. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No accounts, no servers, no ads, no analytics. Your records sit in the app's local database — we couldn't read them if we tried. You can lock the app behind Face ID or your passcode. WHAT'S FREE The questions, the summary, the profile, the visit history and export in your own language — free, no limits. So is your first translation into the doctor's language. MEDISTORY FULL Unlocks translation of the summary into the other two languages: 12.99 a year, or 24.99 once and for good. The price in your currency is shown on the purchase screen. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation. The subscription renews itself unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the paid period ends; manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
