Medication Reminder is a reminder app for anyone who wants to take their medication on time, designed with older users in mind. WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE The app never connects to the internet. There is no sign-up, no email address and no phone number to give. Every medication, time and past record is stored on your own phone alone. It works fully in airplane mode. RECOGNISE MEDICATION BY ITS BOX Photograph the box of your medication. In the list you recognise it by the packaging you see every day, not by a name you have to read. If you would rather not take a photo, you can tell medications apart by their form (pill, capsule, syrup, drops, injection, spray, cream) and colour. ALARMS THAT ARE HARD TO MISS Critical medications get insistent alarms: a long, distinct vibration, a sound that keeps ringing, and a screen alert that takes over the lock screen. If you do not act, you are reminded again after 5, 10 and 15 minutes. Alarms are scheduled with your phone's operating system in advance, so they fire even when the app is closed. DESIGNED FOR OLDER USERS - Very large text option, honouring your phone's own text size setting - Wide buttons that are easy to press - High-contrast colours, with markers that stay readable for colour blindness - Screen reader support (VoiceOver / TalkBack) - Simple mode: only today's medications and two large buttons PROTECTION AGAINST ACCIDENTAL DISMISSAL On the alarm screen the "TAKEN" button does not respond to a single tap; it must be held for two seconds. A sleeping or distracted hand cannot dismiss an alarm by accident. If you record the same medication twice in a short period, the app asks you to confirm. TRACKING AND REPORTS - A 30-day calendar of doses taken, missed and snoozed - A per-medication rate - A one-page PDF report you can show your doctor - A medication list card with a QR code for emergencies - Stock tracking, with a warning when a medication runs low FREE, WITH NO ADVERTISING No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases, no user tracking. IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTICE This application is not a medical device and has not been certified as one. It does not provide medical advice, dosage recommendations or drug-interaction assessments. Your physician and pharmacist are the only authoritative source regarding the name, dose and timing of your medication. Reminders may be delayed or missed entirely if the phone is switched off, battery optimisation is active, permissions are revoked, or the operating system restricts the app. Do not rely on this app as your only reminder for life-critical medication. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
