Store description excerpt

Times-tables practice that stays on your device — wrapped in a magical meadow your kid grows. Meadowling is a multiplication-tables practice game where every right answer makes something grow: a flower, an apple tree, a whole meadow. Built for Australian kids working on their times tables (ages 8–10, or any age still learning them), aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9.0 (ACARA) Year 3 and Year 4 multiplication content at launch — with addition, subtraction, division and broader coverage rolling out in future updates. — WHAT YOUR KID DOES — • Pick your Meadowling (your magic creature) — Sproutling, Ember, Dewdrop, or Cloudpuff — then choose your first pet companion • Plant seeds in your meadow by pressing and holding the ground • Solve multiplication problems — times tables from 2 to 10 — and watch your plants grow stage by stage • Harvest grown plants for gems — emeralds, sapphires and rubies — to trade for coins; bigger plants and storm-touched mystic plants give rarer gems, and a hot answer streak can upgrade your next gem a tier • Trade gems for coins; buy eggs in the shop — six kinds, from everyday to rare — with hatch chances shown before purchase. No real money, no surprise charges. • Hatch new pet companions from eggs — fifteen species to discover, each with their own walk animation • Earn the magic key by playing rounds — unlock nine themed zones: Starter Meadow, Pond Meadow, Rocky Forest, Cloud Meadow, Enchanted Stumps and Ocean Meadow, then the deep-sea Kelp Forest, Glow Reef and Arctic Shallows • Discover mystic plants when storms strike the meadow — HOW THE MATHS ADAPTS — Meadowling's adaptive engine scaffolds every multiplication fact your child has met. It uses per-fact mastery and spaced repetition: a fact your child knows well comes back at widening intervals (1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 days), while a tricky one comes back sooner. Wrong answers are corrected gently, with no penalty — the fact simply comes back sooner. Your child never sees their own score or level. They just see their meadow growing and their pets hatching while the multiplication practice gets right-sized to where they are. Each fact is tracked on its own — fluency in one direction doesn't guarantee fluency in the other. Parents can check mastery progress at a glance. Times-tables coverage at launch: • Multiplication tables 2 to 10 • Adaptive introduction — tables unlock in a research-backed sequence as your child masters the foundation • Spaced review — once a fact is mastered, it comes back at widening intervals to help keep it fresh Designed around ACARA v9.0 Year 3 and Year 4 multiplication content descriptors and elaborations — the same times tables taught at Australian schools. — PRIVATE BY DESIGN — Meadowling does not collect anything about your child. All progress stays on your device — never uploaded. • No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party SDKs • No accounts, no sign-in, no in-app purchases • No user-generated content, no community
