Store description excerpt

Learn Through Play. Practise Until It Becomes Second Nature. Designed around the UK Mathematics Curriculum from KS1 to KS4, this maths matching game turns essential practice into an engaging and motivating learning experience. One of the biggest challenges in maths learning is simple: students need plenty of practice to build confidence and fluency, yet traditional worksheets and repetitive written exercises can quickly become tedious. Many mathematical skills—particularly those involving mental calculation, number facts and quick recognition—are ideal for practising through games and friendly competition. The aim is to help students move beyond simply knowing how to find the answer to being able to recall and apply their knowledge quickly, accurately and confidently. For Teachers — Make Practice Collaborative Teachers can project the game onto a classroom screen—an iPad is recommended—and use Teams Mode to turn practice into an exciting group challenge. The matching format also creates opportunities for students of different abilities to work together. Take multiplication tables as an example: a more confident student might focus on calculating 3 × 7 = 21, while another student focuses on remembering where the matching "3 × 7" and "21" cards are located. Both students contribute to the team in different ways. One develops faster calculation skills, while the other repeatedly connects the question with its answer—and, almost without realising it, strengthens the fact that 3 × 7 = 21 in their memory. It makes differentiation more natural, encourages teamwork and gives every student a meaningful role. For Parents — Turn Practice into a Personal Challenge At home, children can use Solo Mode for independent practice in a relaxed, game-based environment. After completing a game, their result can be recorded on the Leaderboard, encouraging them to play again and challenge themselves to finish using fewer steps. Instead of asking children to complete another page of exercises, the game gives them a simple goal: Can you beat your previous score? With repeated play, essential maths facts become quicker to recall, helping children develop the fluency and confidence they need for more advanced mathematics. Less repetitive drilling. More purposeful practice. Learn it. Match it. Master it.
