Store description excerpt
This app is designed to allow the correct stroke allocations to be calculated for a 4-ball golf match using the World Handicap System. The user enters the handicap index of up to 4 players, the slope of the course being played and the playing handicap % required. The app then calculates how many strokes should be taken by each player. The app allows rounding or non rounding of the Course handicap calculation as different countries and regions work in slightly different ways. The detailed calculations are: course handicap = handicap index * slope / 113 (Rounded if CH rounded selected) playing handicap = course handicap * playing handicap % strokes = playing handicap - smallest playing handicap
