Matcheroo is adult dating built differently — for real meetings, not endless typing. WHAT MAKES MATCHEROO DIFFERENT • Structured chat instead of open messaging. You get to know each other through guided questions and ready-made answers. There is no free-text chat box — nobody can flood you with messages online. • Avatar instead of a photo gallery. During signup you take a one-time selfie. Matcheroo turns it into an illustrated profile face (avatar) and deletes the original selfie. Discover is not scrolling through real photos. • Short voice intro (up to about 30 seconds). Hear how someone sounds before you meet — voice is the main intro, not a wall of text. • Public meeting places. When you are both ready, you plan a date at a public place you choose in the app — built to move you toward an in-person meet (starting in Zurich and nearby). HOW IT WORKS (SHORT) 1. Profile with the essentials, interests, and a short voice intro. 2. Discover: a few facts, no real photos at the start — hearts instead of endless swiping (limited hearts per day). 3. Mutual interest opens structured chat (questions in rounds; both answer). 4. Later: shared interests, voice, and avatar — step by step, like reading a book. 5. Both want a date? Then you plan the format (just the two of you, double date, or group date), time windows, and meeting place. After the date you decide honestly what comes next — no forced ghosting loop in chat. WHY THAT HELPS Less performance stress from open DMs. Less “looks only” bias at the start. A clearer path to meeting in person instead of months of typing.
