Store description excerpt
Every car the EPA has ever rated, and what each one will actually cost you. Buying a car turns on numbers nobody puts side by side. The sticker price is the one everybody argues about, and roughly the fourth most important. Over five years, what a car loses in value usually costs more than fuel, insurance and servicing put together — and it stays invisible until the day you sell it. Marque puts those numbers on one screen. FIFTY THOUSAND VEHICLES, OFFLINE Every EPA fuel-economy rating since 1984 is built into the app — 50,242 of them, through the 2027 model year. Search "2015 tacoma" and get its eight trims. Filter to electric, 2020 or newer, over 100 MPGe and get 451 of them. No account, no sign-in, and no signal required. WHAT IT REALLY COSTS Pick a car and see five years broken into depreciation, fuel or charging, insurance, maintenance, repairs, taxes and loan interest. Every input is yours to set: your mileage, your gas price, your home electricity rate, how much you charge in public, your APR and term. Change one and every figure moves. SIDE BY SIDE Shortlist up to four cars and hold them against each other across twenty-odd rows, with the best in each row marked. Rows where every car ties are left unmarked rather than inventing a winner. FIFTY CARS, JUDGED The cars most people are actually choosing between carry more than measurements: base price, cargo volume, towing, warranty terms, standard driver aids, and a plain verdict on what is good and what to weigh up. CRASH RATINGS FROM NHTSA Federal five-star results for whatever you are looking at, one row per tested body style. Configurations nobody has crashed are marked untested rather than scored zero. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOESN'T KNOW The EPA publishes no prices, so vehicles outside the curated set are costed for fuel only — the app says so instead of inventing a number. Reliability, resale and servicing cost are graded judgements rather than measurements, and they are labelled as such. Incentives start at zero, because the rules change and depend on your income and the car. NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS, NO TRACKING Nothing about you is collected, and nothing about you is sent anywhere. Your shortlist and your assumptions stay on your phone. The only thing that leaves the device is a crash-rating lookup, keyed on a year, a make and a model. Prices are approximate base MSRP with destination and go out of date; check with a dealer before you buy anything.
