Store description excerpt

The score and the drill — finally in one place. Every marching-band song is really two documents: the music you play and the drill you march. Marching Band is the only iPad reader built around that pair. Flip from score to drill with a two-finger swipe, or put both on screen side by side with a draggable divider and never lose your place in either one. Built for the field, not the music stand. • Score ↔ Drill, instantly. Tap the Score/Drill control, swipe with two fingers, or press ⌘D. Split the screen to see both at once and drag the divider to give each half the room it needs. • Keep them in step. Score and drill run at different speeds — four pages of music against eight of drill. Pin a few corresponding pages together and every flip lands on the matching page. Pin them by hand, or just type the first measure of each page and let the app work out the links. • Mark it up. Annotate any page with Apple Pencil, or drop typed sticky notes wherever you need them. Every song also gets its own full-page notes canvas for rehearsal reminders. Your original PDFs are never changed — markups are saved alongside them and travel with the show. • Hands-free page turns. Bluetooth foot pedals and clicker remotes just work. In split view, choose whether the pedal turns the score or the drill. • Jump like the page tells you to. Add a one-tap Jump button to any page for D.S., D.C., or "To Coda" — no more flipping back by hand mid-run. • Fix messy PDFs before you read them. The built-in prep area reorders, rotates, crops, and deletes pages so charts that arrived sideways or out of order come out clean. Organized the way a season is. Group your music into shows, one per band or program. Each show holds its songs (score + drill), plus support documents like schedules and contact sheets. Build a show right on the iPad, or drag show folders in from your Mac through the Files app. Export a whole show — annotations and all — to AirDrop or share it with a colleague. Yours, and only yours. No account. No sign-in. No cloud. Nothing leaves your iPad. Every score, chart, and markup lives in local files you control and can back up yourself. Requires: iPad running iPadOS 17 or later. Apple Pencil optional but recommended. Works great with a Bluetooth page-turn pedal. Marching Band does not include any sheet music or drill charts. Bring your own PDFs.
