Store description excerpt
mapsee.me shows you what's on nearby, on a map, and walks you there. No account. No password. No email. Open it and it works. Your device gets an anonymous identity — there's nothing to sign up for and nothing to fill in. Add a second device later with a short pairing code. See what's happening around you Events near you on a map you can move, filtered by when you're free — tonight, this weekend, next week. Music, running, volunteering, markets, meetups, whatever your neighbourhood is doing. Get there on foot Real walking directions with the next turn and how far until you take it. Choose a quiet route, a balanced one, or the fastest — and avoid the hills if you'd rather. Preview the whole walk before you set off: the route plays back in ten seconds, colour-coded by how steep it is. Show up together Every event has its own chat: photos, polls, drawings, and pinned spots on the map ("we're by the red tent"). Share your live location with the group while the event is on — only with its guests, and it stops on its own. Host something Make an event in under a minute and share one link. Guests RSVP without an account. Add a poster, or point the camera at a flyer and let it read the details off. Bring your runs and walks Import a GPX or TCX, or record one, and see it drawn with its climbs in colour. Built privacy-light on purpose: no ads, no tracking cookies, no sale of personal data. Live location is opt-in, visible only to the people you chose, and expires by itself. Maps © OpenStreetMap contributors.
