Maplapse turns your photos into a map of your travels – retroactively, from the library you already have. Above all the trips you took long ago – but brand-new ones too: Maplapse reads the location and time stored in your photos and draws your trips with every stop onto a beautiful map.¹ No tagging, no sorting – open the app and your memories appear right where they happened. Whether you're touring in your camper, cycling from town to town, hiking a long-distance trail or backpacking across countries, Maplapse turns the photos you take along the way into a map of your journey — stop by stop. YOUR PRIVACY STAYS YOURS The analysis runs entirely on your iPhone, and no Maplapse server receives or stores your photos, travel data or notes — there are no trackers and no ads. Anything that leaves your device goes exclusively to your own iCloud — and only if you choose to sync or share. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH MAPLAPSE • Detect trips automatically – the location and time of your photos become trips and individual stops on the map. • Explore stops – tap a place and see every photo you took there. • Add notes – capture memories at each stop, with simple one-tap formatting. • Hide photos – remove individual photos that don't belong on the map. • Search – find places, trips or dates instantly; results land straight on the map. OPTIONAL & YOUR CHOICE • iCloud sync: keep your notes and map in sync across your devices – in your own iCloud account. • View together: if you use a shared iCloud photo library, you can view and edit your trips together. • Share a trip as a link: send a single trip as a link — the recipient sees it with its map; the photos travel along as smaller copies in your own iCloud. All of this is off by default — you decide. MAPLAPSE PRO (SUBSCRIPTION) iCloud sync, sharing, slideshow playback, advanced search and assigning photos without a location are part of Maplapse Pro — available as a monthly or yearly subscription; the price is shown in the app before you buy.
