Store description excerpt
Mandoland is a mandolin chord finder that stays out of your way. Type a chord like Cmaj7, F#m or Bb7, or tap a root note and a chord type, and Mandoland shows you three ways to play it: - A two-finger shape, for when the change is coming up fast - The common shape players actually reach for - A movable barre you can slide up the neck unchanged Major, minor and dominant-7 chords across all twelve roots use hand-curated voicings taken from standard mandolin chord references, so what you see is a fingering a mandolin player would recognise. Everything else is worked out by a playability engine that prefers low positions, small stretches, open strings and a root in the bass. CHORD TYPES Major, minor, 7, maj7, m7, 6, m6, sus2 and sus4 are shown by default. Flip on Advanced for dim, aug, dim7, m7b5, add9 and 9. SCALES Switch to Scales to see the major, natural minor, major pentatonic, minor pentatonic and blues scales laid out across the full twelve-fret neck, with every root note highlighted. BUILT FOR PLAYING, NOT BROWSING Standard G-D-A-E tuning. Big buttons you can hit without looking. Diagrams that tell you which strings to leave open and which to skip. Mandoland works entirely offline. There is no account to make, no sign-in, and nothing to subscribe to. It collects no data about you at all.
